Mr. Alan Mease is judging Puppy and Veterans Sweeps Judge on the BHCC 50th Specialty.
Mr. Alan Mease

MR ALAN MEASE,
I was born into it really, my great grand parents, grand parents and parents all bred exhibited and judged dogs. From Dandie Dinmont terriers Fox Terriers, Cocker spaniels, and Afghan hounds, I first showed a dog at the tender age of 5 and almost 50 years later I am still doing the same as they did. Over the years I have had various breeds but mainly great Danes and Briards of which I bred and exhibited for many years and award cc, in the UK in Briards and hopefully soon to add Basset hounds.
My first Basset was bought from the local paper for the princely sum of £25 only a pet, but I was hooked on the breed from then on and 30 years later I am still as passionate about the breed, I with my partner Nigel Luxmoore- Ball are regular exhibitor breeders and judges of this wonderful breed .having judged Bassets in the uk and internationally, it is an honour to be invited to judge for you at your 50th anniversary show and I look forward to meeting you all and your basset hounds.
Yours sincerely
ALAN MEASE.
