I started breeding Basset Hounds under the Beaujangle prefix in 1968 and continued breeding and showing for 25 years. I also bred Whippets from 1974 through the 1980’s on a limited basis. My first Basset, CH. Blue Billy Bueaujangles was the Top Producing sire in breed history, a title he held for over 17 years. Two of the most famous dogs were Ch. Beaujangles Ten ,ROM and Ch.Beaujangles J.P. Beauregarde, ROM who were both multiple BIS ans SBIS winners, breeder- owner handled. I bred Shih Tzus under the Suling prefix for 10 years, finishing a number of Champions. I have been a judge for 33 years and currently judge the Hound, Sporting and Toy groups. I am still active in two National breed clubs and am a life member of Sahuaro State Kennel Club in Phoenix ,Arizona where I currently serve on the board.
I serve on the Judges Education committees for the American Shih Tzu Club and the Basset Hound Club of America.
The Basset Hound Club of America has recently honored me with the prestigious Life Member Award for my service to the club of over 40years. I currently reside in Prescott, Arizona with the last three Shih Tzus in my breeding program who are still going strong at the ages of 12,13 and 14.
I am looking forward to the honor of Judging your National Specialty.
Sincerely ,
